Partnership Overview

Connecting partners to verified nature outcomes. Delivering value to reef communities.

The model

Reefonomics facilitates a virtuous cycle: reef communities in Wakatobi, Indonesia, receive long-term, stable income in return for protecting the reefs that sustain their region. The model has operated for more than 30 years and delivers verified biodiversity outcomes that corporate partners can report against with confidence.

Rather than a transactional offset scheme, Reefonomics is a bespoke partnership that links partner contributions to specific, monitored reef cells — with ongoing reporting, imagery, and scientific evidence of impact.
